Choc Chip and Pizza Party Day

 

In an attempt to ensure that the chocolate chips were shared relatively evenly, I decided to introduce the idea of baking. After all it's chocolate chip day, today.

 

Seems legit, right? RIGHT?

 

So, there we are in the kitchen and looking at recipes when at some point, some fool (it was me, I should seriously know better by now. Wile. E. Coyote moment # 89) drops into conversation that it's also pizza day so maybe we could have pizza for dinner...

So Duncan immediately mutters something indecipherable in Glaswegian, and begins Duncan Math and quickly arrives at a recipe solution:

Immediately, the rest of the gremlins took this idea and ran with it. Like literally, RAN.

There were chocolate chips on every possible surface. Pizza dough, flour, and someone even managed to wrangle the Nutella jar from Hutch "for the greater good."

Before I knew quite what was happening, the oven door was slammed closed, and gremlins eagerly awaiting the results of their efforts.

I may have underestimated them. 

Honestly? 

The results tasted really good.
