I can't claim this bit of gremlin lore, but it never fails to make me smile.
Not only is it a brilliant little Easter egg in Gremlins 2, but one of the NECA action figures actually sports the very same tattoo. The pair even come with a teeny tiny tattoo gun, because apparently somebody looked at these two and thought,
"Yes... these should absolutely be trusted with permanent body art."
I have absolutely no doubt that, given half a chance, my own gremlins would end up covered in tattoos.
None of them would be sensible.
At least three would be misspelled.
One would be upside down.
Another would say something inspirational like "No Regerts" with complete confidence.
And if anyone pointed it out?
Too late.
It's canon now.
