Inspire Your Heart With Art Day - January 31st

Inspire Your Heart With Art Day arrived quietly… and then the gremlins noticed. Once they did, creativity, of course, exploded with enthusiasm.

Paint appeared from nowhere. Brushes were optional. Faces, feet, claws, and tiny mogwai were all declared valid artistic tools. The mission was simple: spread joy.

The execution, naturally, was chaotic and awesome.

Allan and Carl took charge of the windows, carefully painting bright smiley faces right onto the glass. Some were wonky, some were upside down, and one may have had far too many teeth—but every single one made passersby stop and grin. The gremlins stood back proudly, leaving smudges everywhere like abstract signatures.

Elsewhere, art took on a life of its own. Drips became “intentional texture.” Spills were rebranded as “movement.” A gremlin insisted that art isn’t finished until someone laughs at it—and honestly, they might be onto something.  Judging by the smiles and giggles generated as a result of their efforts, I'd say art is exactly what they made.

By the end of the day, the space was messier, brighter, and full of heart. Which feels exactly right. Because art doesn’t have to be perfect to inspire—it just has to be made with joy, curiosity, and maybe a few mischievous gremlins.
