National Trombone Players Day

April Fools,  no... National Trombone Players Day

Some things here in the gremlin household happen quietly.

This was not one of them.

Douglas is not one of them.

At approximately no scheduled time whatsoever, a gremlin formerly known as Douglas anointed himself Head of Music, Jazz Legend; acquired a trombone, and began what he has repeatedly described as “a performance.”

We differ on the definition of the word performance, apparently.

He has since clarified that his name is

Douglas Tootenanny.

No one is entirely sure when this change occurred, but he insists it is important nonetheless.

There is now… an album... Apparently.

Details are limited, but early indicators suggest a strong commitment to both volume and confidence, with less emphasis on accuracy or musicality.

When asked for comment, Douglas Tootenanny provided the following statement:

“Time to toot my horn.”

Further developments are ... ongoing.

A more in-depth conversation with Douglas Tootenanny has been requested via the music blog GremTV, pending his availability and/or willingness to stop playing.

This may be some time.

In the meantime, Gremlin Studios advises a safe distance.
